Owls Finish Fourth to Conclude Rio Verde Invitational

RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The women's golf team was able to maintain its spot in fourth place to conclude the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz.

The Owls finished day three with a 293 team score totaling 14-over 879 over the duration of the invitational.

Bella Kil finished second in the 102 golfer field with a 212 total score, just one away from the leader at 211.

After posting a team best three-under 69 yesterday, Bella Kil outdid herself yet again scoring a four-under 68 on day three.

Her day included four birdies to set a season best tally for the Senior. She is now in sole possession for second all-time for career top 10 finishes passing Ines Lescudier with 13. Her career low was six-under 66 in the 2022 Rio Verde Invitational.

Scoreboard
Just outside the top 10 was Nyah Kelly who finished with a three-over 75 and a combined 218, She finished second on the team and was tied for 15th overall.

Stringing together successful days was Lara Jecnik who plastered back-to-back one-under 71's. She finished tied for 19th with 219 total.

Cameron Neilson concluded day three with an eight-over 80 with a 230 total.

Sabrina Kim scored 79 on the day and 236 through the invitational.

Next Up
The Owls will stay in the south and travel to Jacksonville, Fla. in the North Florida Collegiate March 4-5.
