ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Kennesaw State women's tennis fell short in a tight match against the University of North Carolina Asheville, Saturday afternoon. The Owls fought hard but lost 4-3 to the Bulldogs.

How It Happened
UNCA jumped out early by claiming the doubles point over KSU. The Owls quickly regained momentum to change the match around in the singles competition.

Kennesaw State was able to obtain three singles points to keep the score close, but in the end, UNCA pulled away for the win.
Taylor Dean dominated Linge Steenkamp (AVLWTEN) on court one 6-3, 6-1. Freshman
Ema Baraniakova handled business on court two taking the 6-1, 6-0 victory over Louise Booker (AVLWTEN). Reeling in the last point for the Owls was sophomore
Izabelle Persson securing a victory over Rosie Dickson (AVLWTEN) 7-6, 2-6, 6-4.
