KENNESAW, Ga. - The Owls secured their first home match of the season against Presbyterian Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Kennesaw State women's tennis team finished the trio of weekend matches with a 2-1 record.

How It Happened
Kennesaw State easily claimed the doubles match, having dominant performances on courts one and two. The duo of
Ema Baraniakova and
Taylor Dean defeated Mckenzie Davis/Mathilde Delaney (PC) 6-1. Following behind to obtain the doubles point was sophomore duo,
Izabelle Persson and
Sofia Madrid, defeating Lucianna Piedra/ Madison Dennett (PC) 6-4.

The Owls maintained their momentum in the singles competition, where they snagged five points.
Laura Nadaska defeated Mary Dailey (PC) on court six, 6-2, 6-1. Sophia Madrid dominated Claudia Sanchez Quesada (PC) 6-3, 6-3. Ema Barianakova defeated Mathilde Delaney (PC) 6-2, 7-5.
Izabelle Persson commanded Madison Dennett (PC) on court five, 6-4, 6-1.
Sophia Unger secured the match point for Kennesaw State in a tight match against Lucianna Piedra on court four. Unger was able to clinch the win for the Owls in a three-set match, 6-1, 2-6, 6-3.
