KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse will be playing its second road game of the season as the Owls face Longwood on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
A FEW NOTES
» Kennesaw State is off to a record-setting start this season, as the Owls have recorded the first 3-1 start in program history. Saturday's game will also be their fifth of the season, not included a home exhibition contest against South Florida to start off the month. Longwood meanwhile will be playing just its second game of the year, after dropping a 16-4 contest at Liberty this past weekend.
» The Owls have been explosive on offense in 2024, as they currently have the number one scoring offense in the nation at 21.3 goals per game. Three times in the first four games, the Owls have scored at least 20 goals, including Wednesday night's school-record 28 in a home win over Gardner-Webb. .
» KSU is looking for its first win in the series against Longwood, having dropped the first three meetings, including last year's 12-11 contest in Kennesaw.
» The Owls bring back 21 letterwinners from last season's team, including eight starters. They are joined by an 11-member newcomer class.
