HOOVER, Ala. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team traveled to Hoover, Ala. on Friday to take on UAB. The Owls fought hard but the Blazers walked away with the 5-2 victory.
How it Happened
Ema Baraniakova and
Taylor Dean had a strong performance in the doubles competition defeating Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White, 6-3.
There were also other strong performances in singles play, as the Owls secured two points.
Sofia Madrid [KSU] dominated Sydney Clarke [UAB] on court three, 6-4, 6-1.
Izabelle Persson [KSUW] followed behind, claiming the 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 win over Annalisa Smith [UAB]. The Blazers were able to obtain four wins in the singles matches which led them to the victory.
