POSTGAME QUOTES
KSU HEAD COACH LAURA MANESS
"I think this was a really good first step to prepare us for Presbyterian, and then certainly for Furman, who took us to overtime last year. We came in from the first draw and really started to put some pieces together that we've been working on in practice. I thought we played a complete game and we worked on things that we specifically wanted to work on from our exhibition, which was great."

NOTES
-KSU's 20 goals game off 37 shots, 29 on goal. Reinhardt was limited to just nine total shots, eight on goal.
-KSU's 44 ground balls in the win are the third-most ever in a game in school history,
-Julia Weiss picked up the win in goal, playing the first half and recording four saves and allowing three goals. Errin Crowe and Natalie Cruz both played in the net in the second half.

NEXT TIME OUT: The Owls will host Presbyterian in their home opener on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Stadium. The game will be streamed live on KSUOwls.com.
