KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State Volleyball is adding two new players for the 2025 season, as head coach Keith Schunzel announced next year's signing class of Hannah Pearce and Abby Kaminski.

"I'm super excited for these two awesome young women to join our program," said Schunzel. "It's a small class for us, but it's one that will be very impactful this coming year and down the road."

Pearce, a 6-2 outside hitter from Tanner Williams, Ala.., starred for Saraland High School and Mobile Storm Volleyball Club. She has earned First-Team All-State honors twice and also picked up a pair of all-tournament team accolades at the state tournament, and just recently surpassed the 1,5000 kill milestone during her senior season. Her other honors include one all-region selection and three Mobile All-County recognitions. She led the Spartans to a pair of state runner-up finishes as well as a regional title.

"Hannah is a strong, powerful pin attacker with a huge upside," said Schunzel. "She's relatively early in her development still, which is something we always love, and she's an athlete that's going to impact the game and elevate our team in multiple areas, especially in attacking and blocking early on in her career. She's a blue collar kid who loves training and playing ball and she wants to be great. We're fired up to help Hannah grow to her potential."

Kaminski is a 5-10 outside hitter from Indianapolis, Ind., and played for Franklin Central High School and Academy Volleyball Club. A three-time first-team all-conference honoree, she has also been named All-Marion County four teams, as well as Team MVP three seasons as well.

"Abby is someone who has been playing and training at a really high level in Indianapolis, one of the hotbeds of volleyball in our country," said Schunzel. "She is first and foremost a fierce competitor, which is a trait that we've built this program on through the years. Skill wise, Abby is a natural and gifted passer and is athletic and has extreme range on defense, so certainly she'll be able to instantly elevate our team in those two areas. She also has a really good arm and is a smaller, but very effective, attacker so her versatility as a player is something that without question drew us to her. We're really excited to have her in an Owl jersey and help her be great."
