DALLAS - Forward
Tianna Rivera notched women's soccer first ever postseason CUSA All-Conference honor with a second team nod, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.
The accolade marks the sixth of her career while being her third post-season All-Conference award between the ASUN and CUSA.
The graduate led the team in goals scored with seven, tied for fifth in CUSA while six goals came versus CUSA opponents. Her seven scores were the most of any Owl since
Macie Rainwater in 2021. She scored the game-winning goal in 3-0 win over formerly undefeated FIU.
Rivera ended the season scoring six goals over the last seven matches. It's the highest scoring seven game stretch by any Owl since Brittney Reed in 2015.
The forward has made history yet again as she earned the program's first ever CUSA Offensive Player of the Week in October. In the match versus FIU, Rivera nabbed one goal and two assists earning four points, the highest total of the season of any individual Owl. Her four point performance showcased a career high over her five seasons.
She led the team with 18 points on the season. Her legacy will never be forgotten as she became the all-time program leader in career games played (89).
