KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball opens the 2024-25 season with high hopes on surpassing the preseason predictions, as a young but talented Owl squad will host Toccoa Falls on Tuesday night. The game tips off at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center, and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

 A FEW NOTES
♦ It's a new look Owl roster this year, as just three players that saw significant time a year ago are on the active roster for this season (Simeon Cottle, Rongie Gordon, Frankquon Sherman). They will be joined by transfers Andre Weir (FGCU) and Ricardo Wright (SMU), while the Owls also boast the 32nd-ranked freshman recruiting class in the nation that is expected to make an immediate impact on the court right from the start.
♦ KSU is looking to win its season opener for the third straight season, and this also marks the third straight year the Owls have opened at home. All-time in the Division I era, KSU is 7-12 in season openers, and 15-4 in their home opener.
♦ The Owls will play a heavily loaded home schedule to start the season, with five of the first six games in the friendly confines of the Convocation Center, starting with the contest against Toccoa Falls. The lone road game in the opening stretch will be part of the CUSA/WAC Challenge, as the Owls will be on the road at California Baptist on Saturday, Nov. 9.
