KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football and Wake Forest have agreed to a non-conference season opener in Winston-Salem scheduled for the 2025 season. The contest will take place August 30, with kickoff time announced later.
The game will be the first in series history between the Owls and Demon Deacons as it will mark KSU's second competition against an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) football opponent. Wake Forest has put together a 23-16 record in its last three seasons with bowl victories against Rutgers and Missouri.
KSU officially becomes a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) on July 1, 2024, and will compete within Conference USA. The Owls have three FBS games already scheduled for their inaugural season, as the team hosts the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in between trips to UTSA and San Jose State.
