KENNESAW, Ga. – After suffering its first two-game losing streak in conference play since the 2021-22 season, Kennesaw State is looking to get back on the winning side of things with a two-game homestand this weekend in the Convocation Center, starting with Thursday night's contest against Bellarmine. The game, which tips off at 7:30 p.m., is the second of a doubleheader, as the KSU women are hosting Austin Peay at 5 p.m.
A FEW NOTES
♦ KSU will be looking to regain its magic on their home court after having their 11-game win streak snapped in last week's loss to North Alabama. The Owls have still been dominant in the Convo over the past two years, with a 25-2 record over the past 27 games.
♦ Bellarmine meanwhile is just 1-12 in road games this season, with the lone win coming at Bowling Green on Nov. 17 by an 85-57 margin. Since then, the Knights have lost their nine games on the opponents' home court.
♦ Under first-year head coach
Antoine Pettway, the Owls are playing at the second-fastest pace in the nation (according to KenPom). In addition, KSU also ranks fourth in the NCAA in fastbreak points (17.1 ppg), sixth in three-point field goal attempts per game (29.6) and 18th in scoring per game (84.4 ppg). Senior guard
Terrell Burden meanwhile is 24th in the nation in assists per game (5.9).
