KENNESAW, Ga. – The Owls fought to the third draw of the season after a scoreless final at Fifth-Third Bank Stadium Thursday night.
"I thought our whole team did well," coach Benji Walton said. "Our defense started to figure things out and this is another game to prepare us for conference. We are just a week away now so I told the team, this is one we can grow from."

Tianna Rivera got the first shot on-goal for the Owls with 25 min left in the first half after a tumultuous twenty minutes possession wise for both sides.
A golden opportunity arose shortly after when
Mai Jensen had a lob shot to the to right corner of the goal sent away above the cross bar by keeper Ariana Anderson. The pressure was maintained in the play afterward with
Aila Swinton almost finding the net from an out of the box shot but sailed above the goal.
A 50/50 play went
Allanah Blye's way, nearly colliding with attacker Elena Diaz for the Panthers in the 34
th minute. The ball threatened entering the box but an athletic play from Blye erased it.
An
Agata Giani cross from right to left for
Mai Jensen showcased as the best opportunity to score until that point with 30 minutes left in the second half.
Macie Rainwater almost ended the tie with less than three minutes left during a frenzy in the box but couldn't' convert.
The corner kick advantage fell to the Owls 4-2 over for the first time they've had more corners than the opposition.
The Owls remain unbeaten at home after earning already their third shutout of the year. In 2022, the Owls had 5 shutouts the entire season.
