Kennesaw, Ga. - The ASUN Conference announced Thursday that Kennesaw State forward
Macie Rainwater was selected to the 2023 All-ASUN Preseason Team. The Owls were also picked to finish 4th in the Preseason Coaches Poll for the second year in a row.
Rainwater has been no stranger to winning ASUN awards as she has already collected ASUN Preseason, Third-Team Postseason and All-Freshman Team accolades coming into her junior year. She led the Owls in scoring racking up four goals with nine points earned last season. She was not only lethal on the attack but also served as a workhorse totaling over 1,000 minutes played after appearing in all 19 matches.
You can see Rainwater and the Owls in action as they kick off the season traveling to ETSU on Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. in Johnson City, Tenn.
