KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football has announced kickoff times for eight of its nine games in 2023, which includes five contests inside KSU's Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Click

KSU begins the 2023 campaign Aug. 31 with the second Thursday night home opener in program history. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. as the team hosts the Tusculum Pioneers. Fans can celebrate the return of football season with a firework extravaganza at halftime.
Owl Nation will "Fill the Bank" for a Gold Rush on Sept. 16 with a 5:00 p.m. battle against the Furman Paladins. KSU football fans will cover Fifth Third Bank Stadium in gold to match the jerseys of the team! The Paladins enter the new season with a No. 5 ranking in HERO Sports FCS Preseason Top 25.
Kennesaw State announced its annual Homecoming game will be Oct. 7 versus Tennessee State with start time scheduled for 3:00 p.m. In its last two Homecoming contests, KSU has averaged over 8,700 fans including a record-breaking attendance in 2021 versus North Carolina A&T.
The Owls get two weeks of rest before hosting Lincoln University for a "Black Out" on Oct. 28 ahead of Halloween. With spooky season looming, fans are encouraged to "Black Out" Fifth Third Bank Stadium! Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. and will be the first matchup in series history.
KSU football concludes its season at home with a 3:00 p.m. contest against Virginia-Lynchburg on Nov. 11. The matchup is announced as the program's annual Senior Day and Military Appreciation game. Under
Brian Bohannon, the Owls are 41-7 when playing at home and are 20-6 in the month of November.
In addition to season and single game tickets for the games mentioned, KSU debuts the sale of group tickets at KSU football games. Parties of 15+ receive tickets starting at only $10 per person.
The fall slate contains four away games. Start times have been announced for three of these contests.
The Owls hit the road for week two with a night game against UT-Chattanooga slated for 6:00 p.m. at Finley Stadium. Kennesaw State and UTC meet on Sept. 9 for the first meeting between the programs in series history.
The Owls pack up for a two-game road swing at Tennessee Tech (Sept. 23) and Charleston Southern (Sept. 30). Both contests have kickoffs set for 6:00 p.m. and are return trips from the 2022 schedule. KSU was victorious over both teams last season and holds an 8-2 combined record over these opponents.
The final road game of the 2023 campaign is at Sam Houston State with kickoff time not yet announced. The Owls and Bearkats have only met one time in series history, with the matchup being during the 2017 FCS Quarterfinals at Bowers Stadium.
