AUSTIN, Texas – Isaiah Rogers and
Courtney Lawrence competed on day one of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday at Mike A, Myers Stadium.
Rogers landed a mark of 69.77m (228'11) to finish 11
th in the hammer throw. That finish earned him Second Team All-America honors.
Rogers joined
Courtney Lawrence in the men's shot put final. Lawrence landed a mark of 19.40m (63'7.75") and Rogers added a toss of 17.76 (58'3.25") to take home 15
th and 22
nd respectively. Those finishes Lawrence Second Team All-America and Rogers Honorable Mention All-America honors.
Sarah Hendrick (800m) and Kali Terza (hammer throw) will participate on day two of the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday, June 8.
