GUILDFORD, England – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse played the final two games of its 2023 London Trip on Sunday, with the Owls sweeping both games at the Sports Park at the University of Surrey. KSU began with a 14-4 victory over the Wales Dragons, and then closed out against the Wales U-21 squad with a 16-6 victory.
GAME ONE: Two scores from
Shannon Harrington in the first quarter sparked the Owls to a 4-0 lead and they cruised from there. Every Owl played and nine total players scored. KSU scored the final five goals as well, holding Wales scoreless for over a quarter. Leading the Owls in the day's first game was Harrington and
Caroline Farley, both with hat tricks.

GAME TWO: Devon Webb got the Owls up early by scoring the first two goals just minutes into the contest. KSU would hold Wales off the scoreboard for the entire quarter, going up 4-0, and led 8-2 at halftime. After a third quarter in which both teams scored three goals, Wales opened the fourth to make the game 11-6. KSU then closed out with a run of five straight scores for the 10-goal lead. Shannon Harrington leading all players with four goals while Webb finished with a hat trick as well with three.
