GUILDFORD, England – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse hit the field for the first time on Day Four of its 2023 London Trip, as the Owls split a pair of games at the Sports Park at the University of Surrey. KSU took on the England National Team, and dropped a 13-7 contest, before closing out the day with a 13-9 victory over the Scotland National Team.
GAME ONE: In their first-ever contest on foreign soil, the Owls fell behind at the start in the early morning match, before settling down with a strong fourth quarter that saw the Owls score a game-high four goals.

GAME TWO: KSU was down 1-0 and 2-1, but two goals from
Abbey Behn led the Owls to a 6-4 halftime advantage.
Jaxsyn Schonewille scored twice in the third quarter to post a hat trick and put the Owls up 9-6 entering the final quarter, including a highlight score on a shot between her legs. Scotland scored twice in the fourth to close within 10-8, before
Hannah Barth scored twice and Schonewille tacked on another score for the Owls.
