Owls Open ASUN Tournament Play Against Queens Wednesday

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse opens play in the 2023 ASUN Tournament on Wednesday at 1 p.m., as the fourth-seeded Owls will take on fifth-seed Queens in the first round at Rock Stadium on the Jacksonville University campus.
 
A FEW NOTES
 
» This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools in ASUN Tournament play, and the second-ever in program history after the teams played in Charlotte earlier this season. The Royals claimed a 14-8 victory, though the Owls led for the majority of the first half.
 
» As a team, the Owls have been impressive on draw controls this year, leading the ASUN and ranking 54th in the nation with 14.1 per game. That's been led by the play of Bailey Wilson, who is fourth in the nation with 9.69 per contest.
 
» KSU is also doing a good job of sharing the ball, ranking 38th in the NCAA and third in the ASUN in assists per game with 5.9. The Owls' 94 total assists are the fourth-most in a season in school history.
 
» Hannah Barth ranks fifth in the ASUN in assists and leads the Owls in points with 23 goals and 19 assists to total 42 on the season.
