KENNESAW, Ga. –
Kennesaw State will play three of its first four games on the road, while an early highlight is hosting the University of Florida at Fifth Third Stadium as the Owls released their 2023 women's soccer fall schedule on Tuesday.

"For us to have a successful campaign this fall we must find results in ASUN play, but to be prepared for the conference we must find out who we are with our non-conference schedule," said KSU head coach Benji Walton. "We pride ourselves on putting together games that are going to challenge our squad in the non-conference portion of the season and I feel we've achieved that again. There is not a team in our non-conference schedule that won't be contending for their conference title. Both Samford and South Alabama are perennial NCAA tournament participants and Florida is back.  I know that this will be a challenge for our group and I'm excited to see how we respond."

The season will start with a road contest at East Tennessee State, before returning to Kennesaw for the home opener with Presbyterian on Aug. 20. The next weekend will have the Owls back on the road for a pair of games in the South Alabama Tournament in Mobile. KSU will open up against the host USA Jaguars (Aug. 24), before closing out against Troy on Aug. 27.

KSU will then face Florida for the first time since a road game in Gainesville in 2006, as the Gators will make the trip to Kennesaw for a Sunday night game at 6:00 pm. Another home game follows against Georgia State on Sept. 7, before the Owls close out the non-conference slate on Sept. 10 at Samford.

The Owls will open their final season in the ASUN Conference at home against North Alabama on Sept. 14. KSU will face defending league champion FGCU on Sept. 28 in Fort Myers, Fla., and will play its final home game of the year on Oct. 8 against North Florida. The regular season will end with three straight road games for the Owls.

The 2023 ASUN Tournament will be held on the last weekend of October, with the championship game slated for the first weekend in November.
