Director of Track and Field Cale McDaniel

On the men's team's overall performance this weekend …
"Felt like we had a shot to get in the mix and had a strong lead after two days, but it's like I told our team. It's a three day track meet and ultimately it's on me for us to be able to finish better as a team. I am proud of so many of our men for what they gave and how they performed. So many champions, records and all-time bests we won all but one field event and set two new conference records in the discus and triple jump. I am very eager to take a healthy strong group to Jacksonville for NCAAs in two weeks!"

On the women's team's performance this weekend …
"These women are led by an incredible group of seniors. We leaned hard on those ladies and they did everything in their power to keep us in the hunt. So many great performances and several all-time bests that give us a lot to build on for next season. Huge shout out to all our ladies that were conference champions and Kali Terza establishing a conference record in the women's hammer."
