Final Results

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams finished competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday at the George C. Griffin Track.
 
Women's Top Performances

• Kaylee Brown and Mollie Speights cleared 1.65m (5'5") in the high jump to take fourth and fifth.
• Britney Chatfield (2:11.57) and Natalie Cummings (2:12.51) grabbed seventh and 12^th in the 800m.
• Jalurah Moore ran a time of 24.57 seconds to secure 13^th in the 200m.

 
Men's Top Performances

• Stephen Smith cleared the bar at 4.70m (15'5") to take sixth in the pole vault.
• The men's 4x100m team of Xavier Paris, Nicholas Mabilo, Aaron Goodwin, Tyriq Hussie posted a time of 40.42 seconds to finish third.
• Ian Jackson crossed the finish line in 53.44 seconds to secure seventh in the 400m hurdles.
• Sparticus Griffin ran a time of 48.48 seconds to take home 17^th in the 400m.
• Koi Williams posted a time of 1:53.54 to finish 15^th in the 800m.
• Tyriq Hussie (21.94 seconds) and Malik Hussie (21.97 seconds) grabbed 12^th and 13^th in the 200m.

 "Fun weekend at Georgia Tech for a lot of our kids. It was nice to get some work in and still be close to home. Huge congratulations to Nicholas Mabilo for the win and school record in the 100m in a very impressive field. Corbin McClean ran another great race in the 100m hurdles that should solidify her spot at NCAA East Regionals. We got a lot of good stuff getting ready to happen and it is time to lock in on championship season."
 
Next Up
The Owls will head to Jacksonville, Fla. for the East Coast Relays hosted by the University of North Florida on April 28-29.
