NEWS AND NOTES

Hendrick qualified for the 800m running a time of 2:02.00 at the Bruce LeHane Scarlet and White Invite. That time set a school record in the event and ranks No. 5 in the NCAA this season. Hendrick has collected three victories in the 800m this season.

Hendrick returns to the NCAA Indoor Championships for the third consecutive season. In 2022, she finished eighth in the 800m earning first team All-America honors. The Kennesaw native became the first KSU female athlete in the program's Division I history to be a two-time indoor First Team All-American.

Rogers landed a personal-best toss of 24.37m (79'11.5") at the Rod McCravy Memorial. That mark ranks No. 1 in the NCAA this season. The Smyrna, Ga. native has competed in the weight throw five times this season and has posted three wins, one third-place finish and a fifth-place finish at the USATF Indoor Championships.

Rogers will be the first athlete to represent the Owls at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the weight throw.

Rogers and Hendrick were both named to the ASUN Indoor All-Academic teams on Thursday.
