KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team opens the ASUN season on Friday afternoon with a 12 p.m. contest against Coastal Carolina at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

A FEW NOTES
» As a team, the Owls have been impressive on draw controls this year, leading the ASUN and ranking 20th in the nation with 15.1 per game. That's been led by the play of
Bailey Wilson, who is second in the nation with 10.3 per contest.

» KSU is also doing a good job of sharing the ball, ranking 26th in the NCAA and second in the ASUN in assists per game with 6.4.
Hannah Barth ranks third in the ASUN in assists and leads the Owls in points with 15 goals and 14 assists to total 29 on the season.

» Midfielder
Shannon Harrington has made a name for herself early in her freshman season. Along with
Caroline Farley, Harrington leads the Owls with 17 goals and two assists.

» The Owls are spreading the ball around more, with six players with more than 10 goals. However, KSU has struggled with turnovers this season, with 18.5 per game compared to 15.6 by their opponents.

» Following the match up against Coastal Carolina, the Owls will remain at home for their following two games against Jacksonville and Stetson.
