KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State softball team (12-20, 4-2 ASUN Conference) fell to the high-powered Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (17-15, 2-7 ACC) 8-0 inside Bailey Park Tuesday.
The Yellow Jackets got on the board first with one run in the second inning and four more in the fourth to take a 5-0 lead over KSU.
Sophomore
Ty Hardeman showed off her speed in the third inning after collecting a bunt single and sprinting all the way to third on a fielding error by Georgia Tech.
The away team added three runs in the sixth to go up by the eventual final score of 8-0.
Starter
Kenley Hilleary (4-7) pitched 4.0 innings with four strikeouts and was credited with the loss.
