Henry Posts First Three-Hit Game, KSU Falls to Governors

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State softball team (8-17, 0-1 ASUN Conference) opened league play Friday with a 3-1 loss to Austin Peay (12-9, 1-0 ASUN) at Cathi Maynard Park.

The bright spot for the Owls in game one of this three-game series was freshman Stella Henry who went 3-for-4 at the plate.

The Governors scored in the opening frame to take a 1-0 advantage early.

Kennesaw State evened the score two innings later in the top of the third on an RBI groundout from Brinaya Bailey that plated Ty Hardeman.
