STARTING BLOCKS
The Kennesaw State track and field teams cwill compete at the Music City Challenge on Feb. 10-11.
 
 
THE FIELD
The field for this weekend's meet includes Alabama, UAB, Auburn, Austin Peay, Ball State, Belmont, Butler, Central Michigan, Cincinnati Cumberland (TN), Duke, Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Florida International, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Illinois State, Indiana State, Kent State, Lipscomb, Louisville, McNeese State, Memphis, Meridian CC, Miami (FL), Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Missouri, MIT, Murray State, North Carolina, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Rider, Southern Illinois, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Tennessee State, Texas Tech, Troy, Tulane, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
 
LAST TEAM INDOOR MEET
The Owls competed at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet, VMI Relays and the Bruce LeHane Scarlet and White Meet. KSU collected 25 personal-best marks, two school records and 15 top 10 program marks.
 
NEXT UP
Isaiah Rogers, Tyler Blalock, Anthony Harrison, Daniel Haugh, Paris Williams and Josh Mulder will compete in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 16-18 in Albuquerque, N.M.
 
KSU will travel to Lynchburg, Va. for the ASUN Indoor Championships on Feb. 26-27.
 

 NEWS AND NOTES
» The Owls have the top mark in the ASUN in five events on the men's side and four events on the women's side.
 
» Sarah Hendrick ranks No. 2 in the NCAA with a time of 2:02.00 in the 800m.
 
»  Isaiah Rogers leads the nation in the men's weight throw with a mark of 24.37m (79'11.5").
 
» The KSU men's team is ranked 33rd while the women's team is 36th in the latest USTFCCCA Team Rankings.
 
 » The KSU men are ranked No. 8 while the women are ranked No. 10 in the South Region in the latest USTFCCCA Regional Team Rankings.
 
 »  Sarah Hendrick and Isaiah Rogers  collected ASUN Athlete of the Week Awards for their performances at the Bruce LeHane Scarlet and White Invitational and the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Meet, the conference announced Wednesday.
