LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams began competition on day one of the ASUN Indoor Championships on Friday.

Simon Seid became the second KSU freshman to win the pole vault. He cleared 5.12m (16'09.50") - good for second in program history.

Seid was joined on the podium by AJ Johnson who grabbed the silver medal with a clearance of 5.02m (16.5.50").

Kaelen Mitchell was victorious in the long jump with a with a leap of 7.19m (23'7.25").
-
Kelvin Campbell collected the bronze medal with a mark of 6.99m (22'11.25") in the long jump.

Isaiah Rogers shattered the ASUN men's indoor championship record in the weight throw with a toss of 23.14m (75'11") to secure the gold medal.

Olivia Brown (8.48 seconds) and Corbin McLean (8.51 seconds) both qualified for the 60m hurdle final.

Britney Chatfield ran a personal-best time of 56.82 seconds in the 400m to advance to the final.

Jalurah Moore (7.58 seconds) and Corbin McLean (7.60 seconds) qualified for the 60m final.

Natalie Cummings ran a time of 2:10.84 to finish second.

McLean will also represent KSU in the 200m final after she posted a time of 24.53 seconds in the prelims.
