A FEW NOTES
♦ KSU would clinch at least a share of the regular season title as well as the No. 1 seed in next week's ASUN Tournament with a win over the Bears. The Owls would also clinch both with a loss combined with a loss by Liberty as well, who comes into the final day tied with KSU at the top of the league at 14-3. KSU holds the tiebreaker thanks to its 88-81 win over the Flames on Feb. 16 in Kennesaw.
♦ The Owls are tied for fourth in the nation for most road victories with nine (9-6), while UCA holds a 6-7 mark on its home court, 2-6 in conference play.
♦ KSU looks to attack the basket on offense, and that style of play has the Owls leading the ASUN in both free throws made (14.2 per game) and attempted (21.3 per game).
Terrell Burden is pacing the way, with a league-best 147 free throw attempts this season.
♦ KSU has shown it's learned how to finish games this season, as the Owls are 5-3 in one-possession games after having gone 1-10 in the previous three years combined.
♦ Through the first 15 games of the ASUN schedule, the Owls have been one of the top offensive teams in the conference. In ASUN games only, KSU currently ranks first in field goal percentage (48.2%), are tied first in assists (15.1 apg), and are second in both scoring (78.9 ppg) and scoring margin (+6.9).
♦ KSU's 75.8 points per game on offense is currently the highest average in school history.
♦ For the first time in KSU's Division I history, the Owls are ranked in a poll, coming in at No. 25 for the second straight week in the most recent edition of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25.
