KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team hosts Longwood on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The game will be live streamed as well on KSUOwls.com.
A FEW NOTES
» This is the third meeting in program history between the Owls and the Lancers. The Owls are 0-2 overall against the Lancers.
» Sunday's game is a homecoming for Longwood coach Kylar Ferguson, who played for the Owls from 2013-14, and earned ASUN All-Academic Honors in 2013.
» The Owls are looking to bounce back from its road loss on Feb. 15, as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead before falling 16-13 at Winthrop.
» One advantage for Kennesaw State heading into the schedule, the Owls return nine of 11 starters from last year's squad, and a total of 20 overall players. That helps off set KSU losing 57% of its scoring from a year ago. Looking to help fill that void on offense are midfielders Hannah Barth and Mia MacKenzie, along with attackers Hannah Davis, Carolina Farley and Jaxsyn Shonewille.
