KENNESAW, Ga. – Tyler Blalock (shot put),
Isaiah Rogers (weight throw) along with former Owls
Daniel Haugh (weight throw),
Joshua Mulder (heptathlon) and
Paris Williams (60 m hurdles) will compete with the best track and field athletes in the country at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque , NM.
The USATF Championships run Thursday, Feb. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 18.
How They Qualified
Haugh landed a toss of 24.89m (81'8) at the Music City Challenge on Feb. 10. That mark ranks No.1 in the US this season.
Rogers recorded a toss of 24.37m (79'11.5") at the Rod McCravy Memorial on Jan. 13. That mark ranks first in the NCAA third in the US this season.
Williams qualified for this event with a time of 7.63 seconds in the 60m hurdles at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 27.
Blalock landed a toss of 19.55m (64' 1.75") in the shot put at the 2022 Music City Challenge.
Mulder qualified by placing fifth in the heptathlon at the 2022 USATF Indoor Championships scoring 5704 points.
