KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team plays its first road game of the season on Wednesday afternoon with a 2 p.m. contest in Rock Hill, S.C., against Winthrop. There will be no live stream available of the contest.
A FEW NOTES
» KSU opened its season this past Friday in winning fashion, cruising past Reinhardt 22-4.
» Five players all posted a hat trick for the Owls in the victory, while KSU allowed just four total shots on goal.
» The Eagles lead the all-time series by a 5-4 margin. However, KSU has won both the last meeting in the series (14-8 a year ago in Kennesaw) as well as the last game played in Rock Hill (a 15-14 win on March 6, 2021).
» KSU is looking for new leaders on offense this season after having lost 57% of its scoring from a year ago. Looking to help fill that void on offense will be midfielders Hannah Barth and Mia MacKenzie, along with attackers Hannah Davis, Carolina Farley and Jaxsyn Shonewille.
