KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball closes out the week with its second game against Jacksonville State in three days as the teams will tip off in the KSU Convocation Center on Saturday at 5 p.m. on Alumni Day. Saturday's game will be the second of a double-header as the Owl women will play at 2 p.m., and both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.

 A FEW NOTES

♦ In Thursday's contest, the Owls came away with a last-second 54-52 victory after trailing by 10 points in the first half.

♦ KSU now enters the weekend both looking for its first season sweep of the season, but also to keep pace with Liberty at the top of the ASUN standings, as both teams come into the weekend with 11-2 marks. The Flames will have a tough challenge on their hands, as they host third-place Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night, one of the two teams this year with a victory over Liberty.

♦ KSU is showing it's learned how to finish games this season, as the Owls are 4-3 in one-possession games after having gone 1-10 in the previous three years combined.

♦ The Owls are one of 19 teams in the nation that are undefeated at home this season, while KSU's 12-game home win streak is currently tied for the 10th-longest in the nation.

♦ Jax State meanwhile has struggled on the road this year, having dropped 11 of 12 contests with the lone victory coming at East Tennesse State.

♦ Through the first 12 games of the ASUN schedule, the Owls have been one of the top offensive teams in the conference. In ASUN games only, KSU currently ranks in field goal percentage (47.8%), second in scoring (78.8 ppg), assists (15.1 apg) and scoring margin (+7.8).

♦ Senior Terrell Burden is four points away from becoming the 21st Owl to score 1,000 career points.
