KENNESAW, Ga. – Saturday marks the second of three straight games for Kennesaw State men's basketball against the Big South, as the Owls make the trip up north to Spartanburg, S.C., to take on the USC Upstate Spartans. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
 
 A FEW NOTES
♦ KSU is coming off a thrilling last-second win over Big South favorite UNC Asheville on Tuesday night. Following the Owls' game at USC Upstate, KSU will take a week off before playing at Presbyterian on Dec. 16. Another game against the BCS awaits the Owls, who will make a return trip to UNC Asheville on Dec. 23. KSU has won its last five against teams currently in the Big South.
♦ This is a return trip of last year's game in Kennesaw, won by the Owls on Dec. 20 by a 65-56 score. KSU trailed by five in the second half but used an 11-3 run to turn the game.
♦ Under first-year head coach Antoine Pettway, the Owls are playing at the second fastest pace in the nation (according to KenPom). In addition, KSU also ranks fifth in the NCAA in fastbreak points (20.8 ppg), fourth in three-point attempts per game (31.3 per game), and eighth in offensive rebounds per game (15.7 rpg). Individually, Demond Robinson is sixth in the nation in offensive rebounds per contest at 4.22 rpg.
