KENNESAW, Ga. – Acting head coach
Chris Cahill announced Monday afternoon the addition of six signees to the women's soccer 2024 signing class.
The class includes three Georgia commits along with two from Tennessee and one from Texas.
Ava Bradford
Bradford lands in Kennesaw State coming from McKinney, Texas attending Frisco Independence high school. She serves as an attacking midfielder for the Titans where she collected several achievements including Texas 5A Midfielder of the Year. Bradford landed herself on the first team All-District team two separate seasons. The state awards kept pouring in with Braford finding herself on the United Soccer Coach All-State team. The team captain was also a National honor Society member and a student-athlete ambassador. She has performed in the ECNL playoffs for DKSC playing two postseason matches, finishing third overall as a team.
Layla Kerr
Kerr comes to Kennesaw as a homegrown product from Buford, Ga. Where she attended Mountain View high school. While at Mountain View, she played as an outside back for the Bears. Her club experience includes performing at the 2022 Elite Club National League (ECNL) national qualifiers. She also showcased her talents in the SCCL in U16 before playing in the ECNL from U17 to U19.
Angelina Noorbehesht
Noorbehesht showcases yet another local product hailing from Marietta, Ga. Playing high school ball at Walton. The outside forward has at every level she's played in thus far. She helped usher the Raiders to back-to-back GHSA 7A Regional Championships in 2022 and 2023. Along with the titles, her team was a state finalist in '23 with Noorbehesht collecting a scholar athlete award in the same season. Outside of high school, she reached the pinnacle of the SCCL league earning the 2018/19 Tophat SCCL Southeast title. Recently, Noorbehesht took home the 2022/23 Girls Academy League Club Championship for the Tophat Soccer Club.
Phoebe Scott
Scott is an attacking midfielder and forward at West high school in Knoxville, Tenn. She burst onto the scene earning varsity status all four years of high school along with earning All-District and All-Region honors. Her accolades don't stop there as the Tennessee native earned nod on the Five Star Preps All State list as a midfielder and being an All-American nominee. Scott helped lead her club team the Chattanooga Re Wolves to the quarterfinals in the National Championship. FC Alliance 06 ECNL, Chattanooga Red Wolves 06, Chattanooga Red Wolves USL.
Isabella Stephens
Stephens appears as the third Georgia product of the signing class coming to KSU from Acworth Ga. Where she played at North Cobb Cristian. The wing/forward has racked up a plethora of honors including Second Team All-State this season along with a First Team All-Region nod in 2022 and 2023. She also landed on a First and Second Team Cobb County the past two years. The four-year varsity product also participated in the GAL Nationals serving as the team captain. She competed in the USL 2 summer league and finished with an undefeated record. She has also thrived in the classroom becoming and National Honor Society Member and a member of the Spanish Honor Society.
Morgan Mahoney
Mahoney tallies as the second Tennessee recruit of the class coming from Johnson City playing at Science Hill high school. She played as a defender and midfielder in her three years of varsity. She earned first team all-conference and all-district team back-to-back seasons in '22 and '23. Mahoney competed in the USYS Nationals in Orlando this past summer. She spent time with the U19 Lady Red Wolves as well as earning three Tennessee State Championships with the Chattanooga Re Wolves 06 team.
