KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State Athletics is proud to announce Homecoming Day festivities for its football game on October 7 versus Tennessee Tech. With limited tickets remaining, fans are encouraged to purchase today by clicking here.
Alumni Tailgate
Kennesaw State Director of Athletics Milton Overton will be speaking at the KSU Homecoming Tailgate starting at 12:00 p.m. Alumni can enjoy games and live music, including an exclusive performance by "The Marching Owls!"
Student Tailgate
Tailgating spaces are still open for all registered student organizations including fraternities and sororities to host their tailgates in the Yellow Lot as well as the new tailgating zone right underneath the Yellow Lot. Students can login to OwlLife to sign up for tailgating space. Reminder, you must be a registered student organization to claim spots within the student tailgate area.
Owls Fund Tent
Meet the basketball leaders! Head coaches Antoine Pettway of men's basketball and Octavia Blue of women's basketball will be available for a meet and greet with fans inside the Owls Fund tent. The 2023 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship trophy will be available for photo opportunities at the event. The tent will be located at the front of Owl Town.
Owl Town
A free pregame tailgate is back for Owl fans of all ages beginning 2.5 hours before kickoff. Live bands, free food from J.D.'s BBQ, sponsor tents, and more will stretch George Busbee Parkway to add to the gameday atmosphere.
Owl Walk
The team will be dropped off on Busbee Drive at the entrance to the green lot two hours before kickoff. Led by the band and spirit squads, head coach Brian Bohannon will escort the Owls off the buses and into the stadium.
MBB Ring Presentation
The ASUN Champions return as the 2023 Kennesaw State men's basketball team and staff will be recognized for their historic season during the second quarter of Saturday's game. The championship squad, along with former head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, reunite to receive ASUN Championship rings from last season.
T-Shirt Toss
With tip-off one month away, Kennesaw State men's and women's basketball takes the field for a t-shirt toss during the third quarter of Saturday's game. Fans can purchase season tickets for the 2023-24 basketball season by clicking here!
Live Owl
A live version of Kennesaw State's mascot will greet members of the Alumni tailgate prior to Saturday's game. Starting at noon, the owl will be available for pictures inside the Athletics tent in the Alumni tailgate.
Homecoming Court
At halftime, the 2023 Homecoming Parliament will be recognized on the football field. The purpose of the Court is to recognize members of the student body who make invaluable contributions to the KSU community and represent the core ideals of Kennesaw State University as student leaders. These individuals are identified by their peers, faculty, and staff. The Homecoming Parliament's true purpose is to unite students as one student body.
