The final set was a tighter contest, with KSU holding a 15-13 advantage when a 7-1 spurt effectively clinched the victory.

POSTGAME QUOTES
KSU HEAD COACH KEITH SCHUNZEL
"Compete our butts off and free our minds. Those were the goals tonight, and we absolutely did both. When we play that engaged on both sides of the net, offensively and defensively, for an entire match, really good things happen. Really proud of that effort and execution. Our leaders led with confidence and aggression, our ball handlers and setter played great matches and we were good in basically every phase of the game. A big win for sure, but bigger for us in how we won."
