KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State baseball head coach Ryan Coe revealed the full 2024 schedule ahead of his third season at the helm on Wednesday.
KSU begins its 40th season of competition on the road in Birmingham, Ala. for a three-game set against the UAB Blazers on Feb. 16-18.
Stillwell Stadium opens its doors for the first time in 2024 for a midweek against in-state foe Mercer on Feb. 20. That is followed by a road trip against the Wofford Terriers Feb. 21.
The early-season travel continues with three contests against the Clemson Tigers on Feb. 23-25 and with a single game at future Conference USA opponent Jacksonville State on Feb. 27. An old Atlantic Sun foe, KSU is 21-17 all-time against the Gamecocks.
March opens with a three-game home weekend series against Longwood on Mar. 1-3.
The short-lived homestand is followed with a midweek at Belmont on Mar. 6, a three-game series at Kentucky on Mar. 8-10 and another midweek in Statesboro, Ga. against Georgia Southern on Mar. 12.
After beginning ASUN play, the Owls welcome Georgia Tech to Stillwell Stadium on Mar. 26. The Owls won the last meeting in the series a season ago and are searching for their 10th all-time victory in the matchup's history.
Returning the favor from the Owls' home opener, KSU travels to Macon, Ga. to meet the Mercer Bears on Apr. 2.
Kennesaw State then travels to the Classic City to face UGA on Apr. 9. The Georgia Bulldogs later return to Stillwell Stadium on Apr. 30.
Next on the non-conference schedule is a trip to Panthersville to face Georgia State on Apr. 16. KSU is 17-12 against the in-state foe in program history.
The tour of Georgia continues for the fourth-consecutive midweek. The Owls are on the road in Atlanta to face the Yellow Jackets on Apr. 23.
KSU and Mercer then meet for the third and final time of 2024 on May 7 in Macon. The Owls' regular season non-conference schedule concludes at home against Jacksonville State on May 14.
Under Coe, KSU has won 28 non-conference games in two seasons and accrued a 35-24 record inside Stillwell Stadium.
