CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The Black and Gold were picked to finish fifth in both the Atlantic Sun media and coaches poll ahead of head coach
Octavia Blue's third year at the helm, the conference revealed Monday morning.
The rank marks the highest for the Owls under Blue, having been picked eighth last season and seventh in 2021-22.
Coach Blue led the Owls to a 15-16 record a year ago, the most single-season wins for KSU since the 2014-15 campaign. The Miami alumna won 24 games in her first two seasons at the helm, the second-most in Kennesaw State women's basketball NCAA Division I program history by a head coach in their first two seasons.
The Black and Gold are set to open their 42nd season of competition in Nashville, Tenn. on Monday, Nov. 6 against the Vanderbilt Commodores and begin the home slate on Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. against Life University. Click

The Owls' final ASUN schedule begins Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2:00 p.m. inside the Convocation Center against Queens.
