KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State is ready for the next edition of the longest-running series in school history as the Owls and the North Florida Ospreys will face off for the 51st time on Thursday night at 7 pm in UNF Arena in Jacksonville. The teams split the season series a year ago, with each one winning on the other team's court, while both games were decided by just two points. Thursday's game wil be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES

♦ KSU is looking to stay at the top of the conference as the Owls bring a perfect 2-0 mark into the contest. A win over UNF would give the Owls a 3-0 start in league play for just the second time ever, but also for the second straight year, as last year's win over the Ospreys also moved KSU to 3-0.

♦ The Owls, back on the road for the first time since Dec. 23, have been successful this season when away from their home court with a 3-4 road mark. The Ospreys are a perfect 5-0 at home, but have yet to host a team in the top 275 of the NET rankings this year.

♦ KSU has been strong on the defensive end in ASUN play, as the Owls currently rank first in league play in both field goal percentage defense at 35.9% and steals at 12.5 per contest. Overall, KSU holds a +3.0 turnover margin and ranks 26th in the nation in steals per game at 9.3. The Ospreys meanwhile come into the contest with a negative -3.0 turnover margin.

♦ The latest milestone the Owls have set this season is having their first winning record in the month of January (Division I history) since 2005-06, when KSU won seven straight to stand at 9-8.
