Final Results 

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams finished competition at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Saturday.
 
School Record

• Malik Hussie, Tyriq Hussie, Chance Cross and Sparticus Griffin ran a time of 3:11.45 to take seventh in the 4x400m relay.

 
Men's Top Performances

• Courtney Lawrence landed a toss of 18.43m (60'5.75") in the shot put to finish fourth.
• Lawrence was joined in the top 10 by Isaiah Rogers who had a throw of 17.49m (57'4.75") and Anthony Harrison who added a mark of 17.44m (57'2.75"). They finished seventh and eighth.
• Justin Campbell landed a leap of 15.01m (49'3") to finish third in the triple jump.
• Chance Cross (21.731 seconds), Aaron Goodwin (21.737 seconds) and Tyriq Hussie (21.75 seconds) took 15^th, 16^th and 17^th in the 200m.
• Juan Cavazos II and Sultan Simms cleared 2.01m (6'7) to finish tied for sixth in the high jump.
• AJ Johnson got over the bar at 5.11m (16'9.25) to take fourth in the pole vault. That mark ranks second in school history.
• Johnson was joined in the top ten by Simon Seid who cleared 4.91m (16'1.25) to finish seventh.

 
Women's Top Performances

• Sarah Hendrick won the 800m in a time in a time of 2:03.51. That time ranks No. 3 in the NCAA this season and third in program history.
• Kaylee Brown cleared 1.65m (5'6") in the high jump to tie for sixth.
• Tayla Moreland landed a leap of 12.49m (40'11.75") to finish fifth in the triple jump.
• Ansley Guy, Sarah Hendrick, Corbin McLean and Kyndall Hudson posted a time of 3:48.81 to finish sixth in the 4x400m relay.

"We had a ton of people take a big step forward this weekend at Clemson. I'm proud of our young people that continue to stick to and trust our process. Huge Congrats to Sarah Hendrick and Caroline Timm for running national level marks in both the 800m and Mile, and the men's 4x400m sent us home setting a new school record. I'm especially proud of how happy our team is for one another and the pride they take in continuing to grow this program. We will only get stronger in the coming weeks!"
