KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball is set for the marquee game of the night in the ASUN as the Owls will be on the road Thursday at Stetson for a match-up of first-place teams. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. in the Edmunds Center and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

 A FEW NOTES
♦ Both teams are part of a four-way tie for the top of the league with 5-1 conference marks, and this will also be the only meeting of the regular season between the two programs.
♦ The Owls and the Hatters are both greatly exceeding the preseason predictions, as KSU was picked eighth in the ASUN coaches' poll, while Stetson came in at 12th. Instead, they are tied along with Liberty and Eastern Kentucky for first, and more importantly have a two-game lead over fifth place. The top four teams at the end of the regular season will all host quarterfinal contests in the 2023 ASUN Tournament.
♦ Stetson is 4-0 at home this season, though only two were against Division I opponents. KSU meanwhile has been strong away from Kennesaw this season with a 4-5 record, including a victory at Queens that snapped the Royals' 17-game home win streak.
♦ The Owls have won the last three games in the 28-game series with Stetson, including a season sweep a year ago. In the last meeting inside the Edmunds Center, the Owls cruised to a 77-49 victory on Jan. 15, 2022.
