KENNESAW, Ga. – One week of the 2022 regular season is in the books and Kennesaw State football sits at No. 18 in the AFCA Coaches top 25 poll.
The mark gives KSU its 61st consecutive week in the top 25 poll, dating back to Oct. 30 of the 2017 season. The streak spans 1,771 days with the Owls entering the last 52 games as a ranked program. Since its inception as a program, 96 weeks of national FCS top 25 polls have been released and the Owls have been featured in over 63 percent of them.
KSU was placed 19 in the STATS Perform FCS top 25 poll this week.
The Owls head to Cincinnati, Ohio for a showdown against the No. 22/23 Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, Sept. 10 inside Nippert Stadium. The contest marks KSU's fourth meeting with an FBS team in program history.
