KENNESAW, Ga - This week will mark the first action for Kennesaw State Lacrosse this fall as the Owls will begin a month long of playdates this weekend. They will start the exhibition games Saturday, after the Owls warm up with their annual Black and Gold intersquad scrimmage on Friday, Sept. 30 at 8 pm at the KSU rugby fields.
The team will then host their first match game on Saturday, against Reinhardt, Mercer and Lee University at the Perch. The following Sunday, the Owls will prepare for their first travel game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 9.
They will again play on the road with their next match set for Oct. 15 in Louisville, Ky., where they will take on opponents Louisville, Cincinnati, and Eastern Michigan.
Returning from to Kennesaw, the Owls will close out their fall season by hosting their final set of games on Oct. 23 against Embry-Riddle, Young Harris and Furman.
Excitement is high for the team, and the Owls, under seventh-year head coach
Laura Maness are ready to begin where they left off following a 2022 season in which KSU set a new school record for wins.
