KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State looks to push its unbeaten streak to four games as the Owls host Liberty on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Owls are coming off a 1-1 tie against Queens on Thursday. Over the past three games, the KSU defense has been a major catalyst in the team's current three-game unbeaten streak. Kennesaw State has allowed just one goal and a season-low nine shots against the Royals.
Sunday's matchup will be the seventh meeting between the two programs, with the series tied at 3-3.
Liberty knocked off Jacksonville State on Thursday and sits atop the ASUN standings entering the match on Sunday.
Allanah Blye's Strong Stretch at Goalkeeper
In her past three starts, Blye secured two back-to-back shutouts against Georgia Southern and Jacksonville State and gave up just one goal against Queens on Thursday. Blye finished with seven saves and posted her first career clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Georgia Southern. The Blye's back-to-back shutouts for the Owls are the first since
Dylan Pixton had two straight shutouts in the spring of 2021 ASUN Conference Tournament. Blye is 3-1-1 starting at goalkeeper this season and the two shutouts rank as the fourth best in the ASUN.
Bryan Scores First Career Goal

Aly Bryan scored the eventual game-winner in the sixth minute in a 1-0 shutout at Jacksonville State last Sunday.
Macie Rainwater dumped off a pass and Bryan hooked a shot into the top left corner of the net from 30 yards out to net her first career goal. Underclassmen have accounted for 8 out of the 11 goals scored this season for the Owls.
Stellar Stella

Stella Allen has shown a knack for finding the back of the net in her first season at KSU. The Snellville, Ga. native leads the team with three goals on just five shots. The forward scored her third goal in a 2-0 win over Georgia Southern. Allen's three total goals rank tied for fifth in the ASUN.
A Look at Liberty
Liberty has scored 18 goals this season, which ranks No. 2 in the ASUN Conference and No. 60 in the country. McKinley Burkett ranks No. 2 in the ASUN in goals scored (4) and points (8) this season The Flames are averaging 15.8 shots per game this season, which ranks No. 1 in the ASUN Conference and No. 59 in the country. Liberty is outshooting opponents 174-103 this season and has outshot nine of its 11 opponents faced. Ainsley Leja's 0.82 GAA ranks No. 2 in the ASUN and No. 76 in Division I. Leja ranks No. 15 in the country in shutouts with five.
