KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football brings an 11-game home win streak into Fifth Third Bank Stadium for its home opener versus Wofford on Saturday, September 24. The Owls and Terriers meet for the fourth time in series history, with KSU holding a 3-0 advantage. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.

- Kennesaw State football is 6-1 in home openers heading into Saturday's contest with Wofford. KSU has outscored its opponents 293-82 in these matchups.
- The Owls enter this weekend with a perfect 3-0 record over the Terriers with two wins coming in the FCS Playoffs (2018 & 2019). Last season, KSU defeated Wofford 31-10 and held the Terriers' rushing attack to 67 yards. This marked Wofford's fewest rushing yards in a single game since 1997.
- Quarterback Jonathan Murphy has 981 career rushing yards entering the home opener. The quarterback is only 19 shy of becoming the seventh Owl to achieve the 1,000-yard milestone.

A free pregame tailgate is back for Owl fans of all ages beginning
2.5 hours before kickoff. Live bands, free food from J.D.'s BBQ, sponsor tents, and more will stretch George Busbee Parkway to add to the gameday atmosphere.
Replica Rings Giveaway
The first 1,000 fans to enter the gates on Saturday will receive a replica of the 2021 Big South Championship ring. Gates will open one hour prior to kickoff.
FLIGHT26 Freshmen Runout
The Kennesaw State freshmen class has started a new tradition to begin the 2022 season. The FLIGHT26 squad will run out of the tunnel and into Fifth Third Bank Stadium minutes before the KSU football team to celebrate the kickoff of another school year.
Clear Bag Policy
In an effort to provide a safer environment, enhance fan experience and significantly expedite entry into Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw State adheres by a clear bag policy. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted in the stadium. Individuals may also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed and will need to enter through the Georgia Natural Gas gate to be checked.
