KENNESAW, Ga. – As fans eagerly anticipate Kennesaw State football's arrival into the ASUN Conference and its home opener Saturday, Sept. 24, here are the top things to know and do in 2022.
1. Tailgate and Park with over 750 Spots in the Black Lot
Ease of access and tailgating spots just steps away from Fifth Third Bank Stadium lie many spots to tailgate and get to Kennesaw hassle-free. The Black lot has expanded this season to hold over 750 parking spots for an easier gameday. Fans wishing to enjoy tailgating before the game can do so in the increased Black lot. The presale price is $13 and the gameday price is cashless at $20.

Student parking is located in the Green Lot at 3305 Busbee Drive. Student parking passes can be claimed and saved to their student ID once the ticket window opens each Monday. Parking passes for the Wofford game are available beginning Monday, Sept. 19 at 10:00 a.m. Students will need to claim a ticket for the game to be eligible for a parking pass. If students do not claim in advance, they can scan their ID when they arrive if all the spots are already not claimed.
2. Cashless   Â
Fifth Third Bank Stadium, along with the Black and Grey parking lots are cashless on gamedays. Major credit cards will be accepted at the box office, concession stands, and parking entrances.
3. Mobile Ticketing   Â

Student tickets are free for all regular season home games. ClickÂ
here to access student tickets, which will be available each home game week starting Monday at 10 a.m. Students can scan their student ID at the game if seats are still available.
4. Gates and Bag Policy   Â
Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff and to provide a safer environment, enhance fan experience and significantly expedite entry into Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw State adheres by a clear bag policy. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted in the stadium. Individuals may also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed and will need to enter through the Georgia Natural Gas gate to be checked.

5. Owl Town and Owl Walk   Â
A free pregame tailgate is back for Owl fans of all ages beginningÂ
two and a half hours before kickoff. Live bands, free food from J.D.'s BBQ, sponsor tents, and more will stretch George Busbee Parkway to add to the gameday atmosphere. Alcohol will be available for purchase to individuals ages 21-and-over with a variety of selections including beverages from Wild Heaven Beer and Dry County Brewery.

Greet the stars of the field up close during Owl Walk. The team will be dropped off on Busbee Drive at the entrance to the green lot two hours before kickoff. Led by the band and spirit squads, head coach
Brian Bohannon will escort the Owls off the buses and into the stadium.
6. Food Trucks and Concessions
Fifth Third Bank Stadium has partnered with Premier Events to provide a variety of concessions options at all events. You can expect stadium standard food along with local favorites including food trucks.

Beer, wine, and hard seltzers will be available for sale at KSU football games again this season. Alcohol sales will end at the start of the fourth quarter.

Credit cards will be accepted within the stadium; all transactions will be cashless.

This season's food trucks, Jalapeno Corn Dog and Snowie, will serve a tasty variety of offerings such as the following: "magic house sauce chicken tenders and tots," corndogs, funnel cakes, shaved ice, freshly squeezed lemonade, and more.
7. Bus Routes
Kennesaw State University provides safe and convenient shuttle options to and from the home games and the Kennesaw Campus. For service from the Marietta Campus, take the Kennesaw/Marietta bus route to the Kennesaw Campus and transfer to the Campus Loop Route at the Rec Center stop. KSU shuttles offer efficient service on game day to students, fans, and faculty throughout the entire 2022 season!
The Big Owl Bus is your designated transportation service to and from Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Buses will run approximatelyÂ
three-and-a-half hours prior to each home game and will stop running at approximatelyÂ
two hours after the game.
Service for the Kennesaw/Marietta route will be adjusted accordingly on game day. All shuttles drop-off and pick-up at the CCT Bus Stop, located on George Busbee Drive outside Fifth Third Bank Stadium. For the 6:00 p.m. kickoffs, the Kennesaw/Marietta route will run directly to the Marietta campus after the conclusion of the game.Â

8. #FLIGHT26 and Boom!
An exciting new tradition for the KSU community starts this season! FLIGHT26
, the nickname for the incoming KSU freshmen class, will lead the Owls onto the field in their #FLIGHT26 jerseys prior to the season-opener Saturday, Sept. 24. Be there before kickoff to welcome the newest Owls to the parliament!

Also, the KSU cannon is back this fall. Sponsored and operated by a rotating group of student organizations, a cannon will announce the team's entrance onto the field and celebrate each touchdown and field goal the Owls score this fall.

10. Live the Suite Life
Enhance your gameday experience with a premium or concourse suite. Â Premium and concourse suites are available to provide fans with amenities, catering, and access to make the most of their Saturday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Premium indoor suites hold up to 20 fans, and concourse suites hold up to 16. New this year, suites can be pooled together with fans that are interested in a suite but have a smaller party size.
