KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football stands at No. 22 in the AFCA Coaches poll after its showdown with 2021 College Football Playoff semifinalist Cincinnati on Saturday.
The mark gives KSU its 62nd consecutive week in the top 25 poll, dating back to Oct. 30 of the 2017 season. The streak spans 1,778 days with the Owls entering the last 53 games as a ranked program. Since its inception as a program, 97 weeks of national FCS top 25 polls have been released and the Owls have been featured in over 64 percent of them.
KSU was placed 23rd in the STATS Perform FCS top 25 poll this week.
The Owls are off this week but return to the gridiron on Saturday, Sept. 24 for the home opener inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium against Wofford.
