KENNESAW, Ga. – The first ranking of the 2022 football season has arrived and the Kennesaw State Owls stand at No. 8 in the STATS Perform Preseason poll announced Monday.
The mark gives KSU its 60th consecutive week in the top 25 poll, dating back to Oct. 30 of the 2017 season. The streak spans 1,743 days with the Owls entering the last 51 games as a ranked program. Since its inception in 2015, Kennesaw State football has appeared in over 69 percent of the 102 national polls released.

Kennesaw State comes off an 11-2 record in 2021 that saw the Black and Gold capture its third Big South Conference title and its fourth berth in the FCS Playoffs.
