KENNESAW, Ga. – Six home games in the opening half of the conference slate highlight the ASUN Conference schedule for Kennesaw State, as the league office released the 18-game schedule for the 14-team league on Thursday afternoon. Fans can get a head start on their season tickets simply by putting down a $25 deposit, available here.

The Owls, eager to build off the momentum of last year's impressive performance that saw numerous records and program standards set, will begin the ASUN schedule with a pair of home games against Central Arkansas (Dec. 31) and Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 2). Following a two-game road trip that includes the first-ever meeting with new league member Queens (Jan. 7), the Owls are back at the Convocation Center to host Jacksonville (Jan. 12) and North Florida (Jan. 14), which will be the second meeting in four games with the Ospreys.

Another weekend road trip, this time to the Sunshine State to face Stetson (Jan. 19) and Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 21), will be followed by the first league doubleheaders of the season with the KSU women's squad. Both Owl squads will face off against another new league member, Austin Peay, on Jan. 26, while closing out the month with home games against Lipscomb (Jan. 28).

February will test the experienced Owl squad, with a three-game and two-game road swings. Two games in Kentucky start the month with contests at Bellarmine (Feb. 2) and Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 4). Next will be back-to-back games with travel partner Jacksonville State, as the Owls and the Gamecocks will first play in Jacksonville, Ala., on Feb. 9, before returning to Kennesaw for a Feb. 11 contest.

Following that will be the third straight for the Owls against a team in its final year in the ASUN, as KSU will host Liberty on Feb. 16, before Queens comes to Kennesaw for a Senior Day contest on Feb. 18. The regular season ends on the road for KSU with contests at North Alabama (Feb. 22) and Central Arkansas (Feb. 24).

This year's ASUN Tournament will have the top 10 overall teams advance, as there are no divisions for the 2022-23 season. All tournament games will again be played on the higher seed courts once teams reach the quarterfinal round, with the first-round games starting on Feb. 27 at one of the top two seeds.

For the first time under fourth-year head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, all five starters from the previous season are returning, led by All-ASUN candidates Chris Youngblood and Terrell Burden. They are joined by a stellar recruiting class which includes Simeon Cottle (College Park, Ga.) and Temple transfer Quincy Ademokoya (Norcoss, Ga.).
