KENNESAW, Ga. – Nine kickoff times and Homecoming for the Kennesaw State football program's eighth season of competition have been set.
The Owls head to Cincinnati on Sept. 10 for a showdown with the 2021 College Football Playoff Semifinalist Bearcats set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.
This fall's schedule features six games at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, starting with a 6:00 p.m. kickoff against the Wofford Terriers on Sept. 24.
For the first time since their win in the 2017 FCS Playoffs, the Owls head to Jacksonville, Ala. for a 1:00 p.m. contest against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Oct. 1. KSU enters the game 3-0 all-time against JSU.
The slate rolls on with four consecutive games at home in October. The homestand begins with the North Alabama Lions for 'Hall of Fame Weekend' at 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 8.
Kennesaw State hosts Central Arkansas for the first time ever at 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 15.
After a record-breaking crowd at the 2021 rendition, fans can 'Pack the Bank' for Homecoming on Oct. 22 at 3:00 p.m. against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
The four-game homestand concludes with former Big South foe Charleston Southern Buccaneers on Oct. 29 at 1:00 p.m.
The Owls travel to Martin, Tenn. for a showdown with the UT-Martin Skyhawks on Nov. 5 at 12:00 p.m.
The home schedule finishes off with a 1:00 p.m. start against the Austin Peay Governors on Nov. 12 for Military Appreciation Day. The 2022 senior class will be honored prior to kickoff for Senior Day as well.
Kickoff times for the remaining road contests against Samford (Sept. 1) and Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 19) are to be determined.
Kennesaw State enters the 2022 season coming off its third Big South Conference championship and fourth appearance in the FCS Playoffs. The Owls join the ASUN Conference this fall for the conference's inaugural football season.
